Homicide detectives are yet to identify a woman whose body was found in a Sydney park on Wednesday in highly suspicious circumstances.
The body was discovered near a playground in Buffalo Creek Reserve at Hunters Hill on Wednesday morning by a council worker who was mowing the lawn.
NSW Police on Thursday said investigators were still working to identify the victim.
Forensic technicians have methodically searched the scene, officers have canvassed the local neighbourhood and drivers with potentially relevant dashcam footage have been asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
Detectives have refused to comment on reports drag marks stretching 30 metres to the body were discovered in the reserve.

They're also tight-lipped on media reports the woman's hands were bound and there was a restraint around her neck.
Authorities were seen examining a nearby toilet block on Wednesday when Detective Superintendent David Waddell said police were treating the death as suspicious.
"At this stage, it's definitely suspicious," he told reporters.
A post-mortem examination is being conducted to determine how the woman died.
