Australia's women's water polo team have ended their series against China undefeated to claim a confidence boost ahead of the Olympics.
The Stingers' 13-10 win over the visitors in Perth on Tuesday night completed a clean sweep of the three-match series.
It follows 10-5 and 14-9 wins in the previous matches against China, who are considered one of the top five teams in world competition.
Coach Greg McFadden said the series had given him some idea of the work that needs to be done before Rio later this year, with unforced errors and drop-offs in intensity hurting the side at times.
"We certainly learnt a fair bit about ourselves," he said.
"Our consistency remains the area we need to improve on."
The Stingers head to the US to face Brazil, Canada, China, Japan and USA in a tournament later this month.
"We are looking forward to seeing where we are mentally and physically against the other teams," said McFadden.
