Brazen armed robbers have used a stolen Porsche four wheel drive to ramraid a central Sydney bank in broad daylight.
Three masked men crashed the 4WD into an ATM outside a Westpac bank on Kent Street at about 11.15am (AEST), causing the outer wall to collapse.
Armed with sledgehammers, the bandits then entered the bank through the opening and took money from the tellers, police say.
They then escaped in a blue Subaru sedan which was waiting outside with a getaway driver.
No one was injured in the incident, but some employees were treated by paramedics for shock.

Witnesses were quick to take to twitter.
"Ram-raid on a bank, in the city, during a weekday. No one will notice that Good plan!" read a tweet from Just Jan.
"That explains all the sirens", Marquis wrote.
"Thieves ram-raid a bank on Kent St with a Porsche. Did they forget the bank is open during the day", Matt Roberts tweeted.
One witness told AAP that he was across the road when the ramraid happened.
He was working on a construction site when he saw the black 4WD smash into the bank.
"I saw it go through the window, and came out just as two guys jumped out of the car."
He said the men had towels wrapped around their heads and were carrying sledgehammers and a baseball bat.
Bystanders stood shocked as the men ran into the bank, then ran out again a few minutes later carrying a bag each.
They jumped into a waiting blue Subaru WRX.
"Everyone was just shocked," he told AAP.
"You don't really see this every day in the CBD on a Friday.
"But it's Friday the 13th."
One of the sledgehammers remained on the footpath as police officers collected statements from witnesses at about 12.30pm.
One office worker showed AAP a video of the Subaru WRX which had pulled up next to the bank.
A man with his face covered can be seen jumping into the left-hand side before speeding off.
