Stomach bug halts Crows AFL star Gibbs

Adelaide could be without midfielder Bryce Gibbs for Saturday's AFL clash with St Kilda at Marvel Stadium.

Adelaide midfielder Bryce Gibbs is in doubt for Saturday's AFL clash with St Kilda at Marvel Stadium after coming down with illness.

Gibbs will not travel on the Crows' flight to Melbourne on Friday afternoon as he attempts to overcome a bout of gastro.

The Crows say the 30-year-old will fly on Friday night if he can recover in time.

Rookies Chayce Jones and Jordan Gallucci are Adelaide's travelling emergencies.

The Crows swung one change to their lineup after smashing Gold Coast by 73 points on Easter Sunday, replacing Wayne Milera (shoulder) with Myles Poholke.

St Kilda added Dan McKenzie in place of injured skipper Jarryn Geary.
