Former MotoGP world champion Casey Stoner insists a return to racing is not on the cards, despite showing some pace during testing for Ducati.
The Australian was ninth fastest on day two of an official pre-season test at Malaysia's Sepang circuit on Tuesday, turning 45 laps with a best time of 2min 1.103secs.
He was just a second slower than reigning world champion Jorge Lorenzo with barely a day of experience on the bike.
But asked if the test foreshadowed a potential comebaCK, Stoner gave an emphatic no.
"I have no intentions of racing," he said.
"It was nice to be back on track with them, mainly to get the data, but I think I am still going to enjoy staying on the side of the track watching the racing, rather than being involved."
Stoner has re-joined the Italian team as a test rider for 2016, almost a decade after winning his first title with them in 2007.
He's spent the past few years as a test rider for Honda, with whom he won his second crown in 2011.
