Queensland's State of Origin star Will Chambers will remain with the Melbourne Storm until at least 2017.
Club CEO Dave Donaghy said the Storm had exercised an option in Chambers' contract to keep him in Melbourne, as they try to lock up their big name stars for the next couple of years.
"Will's shown over the last 12 months that he's a proven representative player," Donaghy told foxsports.com.au.
"He played extremely well for Queensland. He's showing he belongs at that level playing for Australia and Queensland.
"He fits in extremely well down here and we love having him around the place."
With Billy Slater signing earlier in the year for another two seasons, Cooper Cronk remains the only big-name star at the club not to have signed beyond 2016.
