Western Australia's north is still at risk of severe storms and floods from ex-tropical cyclone Hilda.
Locations such as Giles, Kiwirrkurra and Warburton are being warned thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds, large hailstones, and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area during Saturday afternoon.
Ex-tropical cyclone Hilda lies over the North Interior and is currently moving toward the south southeast, the Bureau of Meteorology says.
Severe weather and thunderstorm warnings are current for parts of the North and South Interior.
Widespread heavy rainfall is expected in the Salt Lakes District Rivers catchment on Saturday and into Sunday with widespread totals of 50mm expected and isolated heavier falls of 100mm to 170 mm possible.
The heavy rains are expected to extend into the Warburton district rivers over the weekend, with widespread totals of 50mm expected and isolated heavier falls of 80mm to 100 mm possible.
Flood warnings are in place for those districts.
However, a final flood warning was issued for the West Kimberley about 10.30am on Saturday, with waters expected to ease in river catchments over the next few days.
Heavy rain associated with Hilda since Tuesday has seen excessive rain in the region, including 513mm at Cygnet Bay and over 200mm at Kilto Station, West Roebuck and Bidyadanga.
Rainfall totals for the 24 hours to 9am Saturday have been generally less than 30mm with Udialla recording 47mm.
