Strikers sign ex-England skipper for WBBL

Former England captain Charlotte Edwards has joined Adelaide Strikers for the Women's Big Bash League.

Former England skipper Charlotte Edwards has agreed a deal to join Adelaide Strikers for this summer's Women's Big Bash League.

Edwards, who retired from international cricket after being replaced as captain by Heather Knight,, has since led the Southern Vipers to the inaugural English domestic competition.

This will be the 36-year-old's second stint in Australia having previously played for Perth Scorchers.
