Study to shed light on homeless veterans

The federal government has commissioned research into the plight of veterans living on the streets in order to learn how to offer better support services.

A new study aims to shed light on the extent of homelessness among ex military personnel.

The University of New South Wales and the University of Adelaide will conduct the research next year.

Veterans Minister Dan Tehan said the data will help the government offer better support services and address the factors that can cause homelessness.
