Super League final to stay at Old Trafford

British rugby league's showpiece match will be played at Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United, until at least 2017.

The Super League Grand Final is to remain at Old Trafford for another four years, officials announced Friday.

The agreement with English football champions Manchester United, who own Old Trafford, was made public on the eve of this season's rugby league final at the 'Theatre of Dreams' on Saturday between Warrington and Wigan.

Now the final will remain at Old Trafford until at least 2017 which will mark its 20th anniversary.

Old Trafford will also be the venue for the rugby league World Cup final on November 30.
