A Seattle man has taken justice into his own hands, patrolling the city streets at night to stop crime.

The vigilante, who calls himself Phoenix Jones, wears a black and gold suit made of rubber which he puts on in a chamber hidden behind a bookcase in a comic store.

But there is more to Jones than the outfit - he has actually chased a man trying to break into a car.

No police comment was available on whether Jones' activity was dangerous.
