The Air France Airbus A380, the largest passenger jet in the world, was carrying 475 passengers as it readied for take-off for Paris when its wing grazed the tail of a Comair jet carrying 62 passengers from Boston, the New York Times said.
No injuries were reported and the planes were towed to the gate where the passengers disembarked.

The Federal Aviation Administration was notified of the incident, and New York Port Authority officials were interviewing both pilots, a Port Authority spokeswoman told CNN.
Video footage of the incident that aired on NBC New York showed the much larger Air France jetliner's back wing clipping the stationary Comair plane, spinning the smaller jet nearly 90 degrees.
