A young romance has become famous online, when an amateur photographer captured a man's proposal to his girlfriend in a US park.
Student Patrick Lu was in the right place at the right time, snapping the scene as Joel Bush got down on one knee. The photo turned out so well, Lu posted it on Reddit.
"I didn't really expect it to be that popular, I just expected it to get my usual 50 odd votes," said Lu.

But the votes kept coming in. Within a few hours the proposal was Reddit's top post and social media site Mashable featured it on its home page. Congratulations poured in over the net, connecting the couple with their surprise photographer.
