Police have uncovered a hydroponic drug set-up while investigating a house fire in Melbourne's western suburbs.
Firefighters needed the help of aircraft to put out the blaze, which destroyed the second floor of a home at Albanvale early on Sunday morning.
No one was home at the time of the fire, which firefighters believe was caused by an electrical fault.
Police say a hydroponic set-up was found at the home and established a crime scene.
