Suspicious letter closes Parramatta office

Hazmat teams are examining a suspicious letter after it was received by staff at a Parramatta office building on Wednesday morning.

An office building in western Sydney has been locked down after a letter containing a suspicious residue was received.

Hazmat teams were called just after 11am on Wednesday and are examining the letter, police say.

The office within the building in Parramatta has been isolated as a precaution.
