Swans regain Hannebery, Demons drop Vince

Sydney's Dan Hannebery has overcome a calf injury to return for the pivotal AFL match against Melbourne at the MCG.

Sydney have regained Dan Hannebery for their pivotal AFL clash with Melbourne, who dropped veteran Bernie Vince for the second time this season.

The fourth-placed Demons also lost Joel Smith to a broken collarbone and replaced the pair with Cam Pedersen and Jayden Hunt.

The Swans, who are eighth, dropped Daniel Robinson to make way for Hannebery, who returns from a calf injury for the Sunday's encounter at the MCG, which has significant implications for the top-four aspirations of both sides.

Gary Rohan has recovered from a broken hand but will return via the NEAFL.

North Melbourne veteran Shaun Higgins returns for the clash with the Western Bulldogs after missing just one game following knee surgery, with Nathan Hrovat dropped.

The Dogs also made one change for the Etihad Stadium match, bringing in Billy Gowers for the rested Roarke Smith.

Fremantle host Carlton at Optus Stadium in Sunday's remaining game.

Dockers coach Ross Lyon made five changes, naming Taylin Duman, Tommy Sheridan, Ryan Nyhuis, Stefan Giro and Sam Switkowski, who will make his AFL debut.

Matthew Kreuzer, Sam Kerridge and Jack Silvagni were included for the Blues.
