Sydney young gun Callum Mills says the Swans' mindset has been positive despite their winless start to the season heading into Saturday's AFL derby at the SCG.
The Swans start the game 12 premiership points behind Greater Western Sydney who have won three in a row.
"There's no point dwelling on what has happened behind us, all we can do is move forward," half-back Mills said on Thursday.
"You obviously have to change things when you lose a couple of games, but our main focus and our main core of the way we play stays the same and it's just doing it consistently over four quarters."
One area Sydney need to address is they have the worst disposal efficiency percentage in the competition.

They have frequently turned the ball over in their own half, especially last week against West Coast.
"The way we moved the ball probably we weren't happy with a little bit last week," Mills said.
"But we'll just get back to what we do best usually.and hopefully that will look after itself."
Mills pinpointed getting back to their trademark hard-contested brand of football as a key to Sydney's prospects of beating the Giants.
"I think if we do that and win the ball around the source, hopefully the rest will stem on from that," he said.
Mills will be part of a Sydney defence trying to subdue a potent Giants side averaging over 17 goals a game, the third highest in the competition.
While acknowledging the threats the Giants formidable mix of talls and smalls presented. Mills wasn't about to rank therm the best forward line going around.
"They are definitely a good forward line, but you can't look past us or Adelaide," Mills said.
"It depends who is on their game on the day."
Last year's Rising Star winner, Mills has given a big tick of approval to the new batch of Swans debutants to have come through this year.
He was one of of seven debutants in 2016 and five more newbies have had their first taste of senior football this season.
"They've been really impressive and we've been super happy with the way they've come in with their attitude and their wilingness to help the team."
