Sydney Boys High School put in lockdown after reports of 'armed man'

The prestigious Sydney Boys High School was placed into lockdown this afternoon following a security scare.

UPDATE: Sydney Boys High School is no longer in lockdown

It is understood police were called to the Surry Hills school after receiving a report about someone suspicious leaving the grounds.

It was reported that the man was armed

No one was injured.
