A dog walker accused of leaving a dog in a car for more than six hours before it was found dead in Sydney's eastern suburbs is expected to plead guilty.
Vaucluse woman Katarzyna Rynas was charged with animal cruelty and failing to exercise care while in charge of the dog in Rose Bay on December 12.
The 46-year-old did not appear but was represented by a lawyer for a brief mention at Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court on Friday.
Registrar James Wiseman noted a guilty plea was expected to be entered at later date.
Police have previously alleged Rynas left the four-year-old male Keeshond locked in a car parked on Old South Head Road from 11am.
