A Sydney drive-by shooting which has left a woman in hospital is the second attack on the home this year.
The 26-year-old woman, a number of other adults and a two-year-old child were inside the Campbelltown home when multiple shots were fired into the front bedroom around 4am (AEST) on Sunday, police say.
The woman was hit in the shoulder and taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment.
Acting Deputy Commissioner Mark Murdoch said the southwest Sydney home was the target of a similar drive-by shooting in January.
"We are saying this is very much a targeted attack," he told reporters on Sunday.

"Certainly the occupants of the premises are known to us."
Although Mr Murdoch would not comment on a possible motive for the drive-by, he said the details of the January shooting would help investigators.
It was not clear whether the woman wounded was the target or whether bullets were sprayed into the house to intimidate one or all of the people inside, he said.
Witnesses have told police the shots may have been fired from a small grey or silver hatchback car.
