Sydney housing continues to slow

The latest housing data shows Sydney's market has continued to slow, with monthly growth of home prices down one per cent over the past week.

Sydney's housing market is continuing to slow while Melbourne remains on the climb, lastest auction figures show.

Home prices in Melbourne held steady in week to July 23, after climbing for three consecutive weeks, data on the latest round of auction activity from property analytics firm CoreLogic shows.

Sydney's house prices were flat in the week but monthly growth in prices for the Harbour City has slowed from 3.1 per cent to 2.1 per cent.
