A 22-year-old Sydney man is facing a series of charges relating to an alleged criminal syndicate that was supplying ice to up to 120 people a day.

NSW Police say they raided five properties in Guildford, Yennora, Fairfield East and Maroubra on Tuesday morning, seizing drugs as well as a handgun and ammunition.

The man was arrested at the Maroubra property, and was remanded in custody to appear at Central Local Court on April 19.

Police say they expect to make further arrests in the case.
