Sydney man freed from vehicle

A man has been freed from his vehicle after a multiple-car accident on Sydney's north shore.

A motorist has been freed from his vehicle and all traffic lanes reopened after an earlier accident on Sydney's north shore.

Authorities had closed one lane on the M1 Pacific Highway on Friday evening after a multiple-vehicle accident at Wahroonga.

Heavy northbound traffic is beginning to ease.
