Sydney schoolchildren have been the first to pilot a groundbreaking program linking them with students in a refugee camp in Uganda, Leroy Ah Ben reports.

Sydney schoolchildren have been the first to pilot a groundbreaking program linking them with students in a refugee camp in Uganda.

Pupils at Killara High School in Sydney's north chatted to refugee children via Skype today.

The project, launched by the UN's refugee agency, UNHCR, aims to educate students on both sides of the world about one another's lives.
