Sydney shooter on the run, man injured

A police dog squad has been unable to find the person who shot a 34-year-old man in his leg in Sydney's outer south-west.

The shooter who shot a man in the leg in Sydney has avoided being found by police.

Paramedics found a 34-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg at Geary Place, Elderslie about 1.40am on Saturday, police say.

Local police and the dog squad searched the area but were unable to uncover the shooter.
