A two-year-old girl has died after being found unconscious in a backyard pool in Sydney's southwest.
NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to a home in Macquarie Fields at about 6.10pm on Sunday and rushed the girl to Liverpool Hospital where she later died.
Police are investigating and will prepare a report for the coroner.
The latest incident follows the deaths of 23-month-old twins after they also were pulled unconscious from a backyard pool at Kellyville Ridge in Sydney's northwest on December 20.
The girl died on Boxing Day after almost a week in hospital and her brother died three days later on Thursday.
