Syria rebel threats 'outrageous': Russia

Russia has slammed the threats by Syrian rebels against those who attend the planned peace talks, calling it "outrageous".

Russia has described as "outrageous" a threat by powerful rebel groups in Syria against those who attend peace talks on the conflict backed by Moscow and Washington.

Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said in televised comments that it's outrageous for extremist organisations to make threats against those attending the so-called Geneva 2 conference.
