Amnesty International says many Syrian refugees with chronic or life-threatening illnesses who are living in Lebanon are unable to afford medical treatment.
In a report, Agonizing Choices: Syrian refugees in need of health care in Lebanon Amnesty says Lebanon's mainly privatised and expensive health system means many refugees can only access care subsidised by the UNHCR.
Graham Thomm is the Refugee Coordinator for Amnesty International.
He told Peggy Giakoumelos, despite a United Nations appeal for more than $1.8 billion for Lebanon in 2014, only 17 per cent of the funds have so far been secured.
