Tahs face Lions in Super Rugby semi-final

The NSW Waratahs will travel to Johannesburg for a Super Rugby semi-final against the Lions next weekend.

The NSW Waratahs will play South African conference winners the Lions in their Super Rugby semi-final in Johannesburg next weekend.

The Tahs earned a last four spot on Saturday with a 30-23 home win over the Highlanders in Sydney, where they scored 24 unanswered points to overturn a 23-6 halftime deficit.

The Lions scored a 40-23 win over Argentina's Jaguares (Jaguares) at Ellis Park to secure home advantage for the semi-final

Losing finalists for the last two years, the Lions beat the Waratahs 29-0 in Sydney back in April.

The other semi-final will be an all-New Zealand contest between the defending champions, the Crusaders and domestic rivals, the Hurricanes.
