Advice warnings have been issued for three bushfires in Tasmania, as dozens of blazes burn across the state.

The three main bushfires have broken out in the central and southern region, which is subject to a total fire ban for Saturday.

Forecasters set the ban because of fears high temperatures and strong winds would whip up blazes throughout the day.

So far, the fires near Penstock Lagoon and Magra pose no immediate threat.

Crews are now also monitoring a third blaze which has broken out north of Brockley Road, Buckland.

But the efforts of the fire-fighting helicopters are being hampered by gusty winds, the Tasmanian Fire Service says.

Residents near the three bushfires are being urged to keep up to date with conditions by listening to their local ABC radio stations and checking the TFS website.

TFS advises people who haven't prepared for bushfires to consider leaving for a safe place should things escalate.

Scores of smaller fires have also ignited across the state, namely in the southeast corner.

No alerts have been issued for these blazes.
