Tasmanian have ended their devastating Sheffield Shield season with a 193-run loss to South Australia, much to the embarrassment of stand-in coach Richard Allanby.
Chasing a lofty 300 for victory at Bellerive Oval on Sunday, the Tigers crumpled for 106 in just 29.4 overs against SA's pace attack.
At their worst, Tassie lost 5-5 across four overs.
"We got obliterated," Allanby said after the match.
"To get bowled out in just over a session is totally disappointing and unacceptable."
The sad scorecard showed second-innings ducks for skipper George Bailey, No.3 batsman Jordan Silk and Simon Milenko.
Only three players managed double-figure contributions, with No.10 Sam Rainbird top-scoring with 33.
Allanby admitted the result was embarrassing.
It means the Tigers finish the season in distant last place with just one win, three draws and six losses.
"We need to be more consistent as a playing group and days like today aren't acceptable," Allanby said.
Tassie's consistent poor form led to the sacking of senior coach Dan Marsh in February, and Allanby hinted further changes could be afoot.
"We just need to get better and if it's with this group of players, it's with this group of players but if it's not, it's not," he said.
"On Wednesday and Thursday we'll do some player reviews: take an hour or however long with each player and go through their games and see how they can improve. That's where we're at at the moment."
Allanby said Tasmania spots were up for grabs for talented cricketers across Australia.
