West Indies bowler Jerome Taylor has gone back on his decision to retire from Test cricket.
The 32-year-old called time on his five-day career last July but has had a change of heart and could earn a call-up for the forthcoming series with Pakistan, which starts later this month.
"I believe I still have a lot of cricket left in me and I know I can still offer a lot to West Indies cricket in the Test arena," Taylor, who has continued playing in his country's one-day international and Twenty20 formats, said.
"If selected, I will look to put my best foot forward and give my all for the team.
"We have some young players in the group at the moment and I believe with my experience, I can add to the team going forward."
The right-armer has taken 130 wickets in 46 Tests, with best figures of six for 47, while also notching a century against New Zealand.
West Indies' three-match series against Pakistan starts on April 21, with the 50th Test at Jamaica's Sabina Park.
