Teen, 17, fatally struck on Brisbane road

A teenage boy who was moving between traffic on a busy Brisbane road has been hit and killed by a passing car.

A 17-year-old boy has died after he was struck by a car on a busy Brisbane road.

Police say the teenager was "engaging in high-risk behaviour" and moving between traffic on Ipswich Rd at Annerley on Wednesday night when he was struck by a vehicle about 9.50pm.

He was critically injured and died at the scene. The 52-year-old driver was uninjured.
