Teen Archie Hunt died in Sydney building fall

The teenage boy who died in a Sydney shopping centre has been named as Archie Hunt.

The 13-year-old boy who fell to his death in a Sydney shopping building has been named as Archie Hunt.

The Tamworth teen was with his father and sister at the Queen Victoria Building when he fell down several storeys of an internal stairwell while trying to slide down the bannister on Sunday afternoon.

He was taken to the Sydney Children's Hospital with severe head injuries and later died.

A report is being prepared for the coroner.
