A teenager has been charged after allegedly stabbing another person in the neck with a broken beer bottle at a Gold Coast playground.

A 19-year-old man has been charged after another man of the same age was stabbed in the neck with a broken bottle on the Gold Coast.

The pair allegedly got into an argument about 9.30pm on Saturday after the victim told him to stop smashing beer bottles at a Palm Beach playground.

The alleged attacker was charged with unlawful wounding on Sunday and ordered to face the Southport Magistrates Court on December 12.
