Teen charged with shooting at Qld pair

A teenager accused of firing a shotgun at two people after an argument outside a Townsville home will appear in court charged over the attack.

A woman, 19, and a man, 38, suffered shrapnel wounds from ricocheting shotgun pellets when they were fired on in the suburb of Kelso on Sunday night.

A 17-year-old youth will appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with assault causing bodily harm, unlawfully possessing and discharging a firearm.
