Teen fighting for life after NSW crash

A 15-year-old girl is in a critical condition in hospital after she was hit by a car while crossing the road in the NSW Hunter region.

A teenage girl is fighting for her life in hospital after she was struck by a car in the NSW Hunter region.

The 15-year-old was crossing Hillsborough Road at Warners Bay just before 5pm Tuesday when she was hit by a car driven by a 22-year-old woman, police say.

The girl was taken to John Hunter Hospital where she remains in a critical condition, while the driver was uninjured.
