Teen killed in NSW motorbike crash

A 17-year-old boy has been killed in a motorbike crash on a property in the state's northwest, police say.

A teenager has died after coming off a motorcycle in NSW's northwest.

Emergency services were called to a property at Warangundi about 30km from Inverell at about 2pm (AEST) on Sunday.

Paramedics treated the 17-year-old male rider at the scene before taking him to Warialda Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police said he wasn't wearing a helmet when he came off the bike.

A report is being prepared for the coroner.
