Teen stabbed in back in Sydney's north

A man has been charged and a teenage boy is recovering in hospital after he was stabbed outside a railway station on Sydney's lower north shore.

A man has been charged after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the back at a railway station on Sydney's lower north shore.

The teenager was treated by paramedics outside Artarmon station about 7.30pm on Saturday before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

An 18-year-old man is set to face Hornsby Local Court on Monday charged with reckless wounding, affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
