A teenage girl has been injured in the torso during an argument with another girl at a shopping centre at Morayfield in southeast Queensland.

A 14-year-old girl has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm after another teenage girl suffered wounds to her torso during an argument in southeast Queensland.

Police say a 15-year-old girl was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital after she was injured at the Morayfield shopping centre just before 6pm on Friday.

The 14-year-old girl will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
