A boy who admitted posting comments on Facebook inciting the recent riots in Britain is thought to be the first minor involved to have his identity revealed.

Johnny Melfah has pleaded guilty to encouraging theft and criminal damage at Worcester Youth Court.

The decision follows a call by the British Home Secretary to name young offenders.
