Teenage legspinner Amelia Kerr is set to make her international debut after being picked in the New Zealand women's cricket side for the home series against Pakistan.
The Wellington Blaze player, who turned 16 four days ago, was called up on Monday into a squad that also features the return of Sophie Devine and Liz Perry.
Kerr has represented the Blaze since she was 14 and has impressed with her consistency and economy.
She has plenty of cricketing pedigree.
Grandfather Bruce Murray played Test cricket for New Zealand, mother Jo represented Wellington and father Robbie was a long-serving player.
Kerr won't be the youngest White Fern when she runs out for her debut.
In 2000, Munokoa Tunupopo played three ODIs the week before she turned 16.
The White Ferns will host Pakistan in five one-dayers and one Twenty20 in November.
