A teenage boy has died after falling from a trailer at Toowoomba Showgrounds, west of Brisbane.

A teenager has died after falling from a trailer at a Queensland showground.

He suffered fatal head injuries at Toowoomba Showgrounds, west of Brisbane, around 12.30pm on Tuesday.

The incident is being investigated by Workplace Health and Safety.
