A 10-car crash on the Princes Freeway in Melbourne has brought traffic to a crawl, with police at the scene.

A 10-car crash in Melbourne's southwest has brought traffic to a crawl with one car on its side.

Police are at the scene and two left lanes are closed on the Princes Freeway outbound before Kororoit Creek Rd, TrafficVic said on Tuesday.

The two right lanes are getting through, but delays are building quickly.
