Ten Network's programs will continue to be broadcast by Southern Cross Media in northern NSW after the two companies extended their partnership for five years.
Southern Cross will pay a higher licence fee than it pays under the current deal, which expires on June 30.
"Our broadcast into the Northern NSW licence area, with centres including the Gold Coast, Newcastle, Coffs Harbour, Lismore, Tamworth and Taree, will continue to deliver high value for our advertising clients," Southern Cross chief executive Grant Blackley said.
Southern Cross recently struck a new partnership with the Nine Network that will see it carry Nine's programming in regional Queensland, Southern NSW and regional Victoria.
Ten said the outcome of negotiations with its other regional affiliates are expected to be announced soon.
Ten shares gained one cent to $1.02 while Southern Cross added three cents to $1.22.
