Tensions spill over into Israel-Hezbollah violence

There's been a serious outbreak of fighting between Israel and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.

Two Israeli soldiers and a Spanish peacekeeper have been killed in fighting between Israel and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.

The attack on Israel's Lebanese border is one of the most violent clashes between the two sides since a 2006 war.

It's raised fears of an escalation in violence as Israel threatened to respond swiftly to the assault.
