Another swimmer has suffered a suspected irukandji jellyfish sting in waters off Queensland's Fraser Island.

The teenage girl was airlifted to hospital for treatment late Wednesday night after being stung on the leg.

The incident is the 10th suspected irukandji sting on the western side of Fraser Island since December 22.
