Terror financing summit to be held

Sydney will host a summit on how to tackle the financing of international terrorism, organised by the Australian and Indonesian governments.

More than 150 leaders and experts from at least 17 countries will meet in Sydney to discuss combating the financing of terrorism.

Australia and Indonesia are co-hosting the first Counter-Terrorism Financing Summit in the Asia-Pacific on November 17 and 18.

Justice Minister Michael Keenan said the program will include recent trends, the increasing role of technology, as well as the views of the private sector.
