Ticket sales for the first Test in Adelaide have suffered from India's refusal to play a day-night match, the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) says.
SACA chief executive Keith Bradshaw says sales are down but he still expects overall crowd numbers for the Test starting Thursday to surpass Adelaide's previous best of 113,000 for an Australia-India Test.
"One of the characteristics that we have noticed is that we are quite down in interstate sales given it's a day Test, not a day-night Test," Bradshaw said on Tuesday.
