Jock Palfreeman is set to spend 20 years in jail for murdering a Bulgarian man after a drunken fight in the country's capital Sofia in 2006.

Mr Palfreeman has maintained that he acted in self-defence after he intervened to stop a group of boys who were beating two Roma gypsies.

But with his appeals now all exhausted, Mr Palfreeman said he is trying to make the best of his situation.

The Feed's Andy Park looks at his case so far.
